Egyptian actor keen to star in Iran’s “Moses (AS)”

TEHRAN -- Egyptian actor Abdel Aziz Makhyoun has said that he is eager to play a role in the Iranian TV series “Prophet Moses (AS)”, which will be directed by Farajollah Salahshur.

Makhyoun made the remark while he met with Salahshur during a meeting of a number of Iranian and Egyptian cineastes in Tehran on Saturday evening.
Salahshur welcomed Makhyoun’s desire to collaborate in the series.
Salahshur is currently writing the screenplay for the serial. He has previously said that it will take a year and a half to complete the script.
He was the director and screenwriter of “Prophet Joseph (AS)”, a TV series broadcast by the Channel 1 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in 2008 and 2009.
The serial was purchased by Tajikistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey.
